We created an AI Policy to explain our use of agentic coding, such as Claude Code and the options for a future path for Blacksky Algorithms and the community at large. Our team has heard the concerns and engaged with as many questions as we could to further explain how and why we use this form of AI.
As a self-governed community, the voices of the community are paramount to larger decisions made that directly impact you all, the Blacksky Team, and the larger ecosystem of open source contributors that use our code for their own communities.
We had suggested four options, but based on your input/feedback/votes we’ve included others to help determine our next steps.
